Labor Day Weekend

Over the weekend Jessica and I travelled with her family to San Marcus/New Braunfels/San Antonio. We had a great weekend Seeing her younger brother play in his first game for college. He plays tenor saxaphone for Texas State. The game was great, I spent most of the time explaining the nuances of the game that the Baylor Band had apparently failed to teach Jessica while they were playing! :P I was very happy to teach her the things she missed, and now she actually uses the correct terms I am so excited. If only I could learn more about drum corps...

Also, I got sunburned on the river...

I will be keeping score on the Great Baked Bean War far into the future. It will be tough, but I will try to pick a winner. Probably within the next twenty years...
