9 Days! Only nine days until Jessica leaves for Edinburgh. I write with hesitation because I am excited, and sad at the same time. On the one hand my lovely girlfriend is leaving to study outside of the country. However, I know that she has been wanting to study abroad for a long time. From day one (when we started dating) I have been mentally preparing for her to leave. I have to be sure that I support her in anything she chooses to do. I also know that she might feel like she is leaving me to do something for herself. I agree that she is doing something for herself, but I want that for her. Moving to a place so far away from home is tough, I will talk to her as much as I can (her being six hours ahead of me, and me getting off at 5:00 pm does not help communication).
All in all, I know this experience away from each other will be amazing for our relationship. I will miss all the little things Jessica does for me, and says (Pep-toe...haha... inside joke!). I am so lucky to have her, and I am excited for what our future holds together.
On another note, I get to go to Europe for the first time at the end of the month. I have everything except the bag I will carry everything in, which I still need to get... Anyway...
